Group Vocal Classes for Adults

Sing Like No One’s Listening

Love to sing…in the shower? This course is for absolute beginners – especially those who aren’t sure if they can sing! The best part about learning to sing is that you already own your own instrument! An introduction to the fundamentals of healthy, beautiful singing, we will explore posture, breathing, tone production and phrasing in a small, supportive group setting. No ability to read music required.

Repertoire Performance Class

This class is for adults who feel more confident in their basic singing skills, but would like to expand their repertoire and perhaps gain more performing experience. Each week will incorporate a technical warm-up for voice, body and mind, group singing, and individual attention, as students take turns singing for the class. A supportive class environment will allow you to learn with, and from, your classmates. A great way for the singer to gain confidence singing solos, or a great compliment to private lessons.

Group Music Theory for Adults

RCM Preliminary Rudiments of Music Theory

The examination is optional, and students must directly register with RCM directly.

RCM Intermediate Rudiments of Music Theory

Although this course prepares you for the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examination, the examination itself is optional. If students choose to do the exam they must register with RCM directly. Students will need to have knowledge of Basic Rudiments to participate in this class.

RCM Advanced Rudiments of Music Theory

This program introduces the additional aspects of music theory, including more depth on previous topics. This course readily prepares you for the RCM examination. The examination is optional, and students must directly register with RCM. Students will need to have a healthy knowledge of Intermediate Rudiments to participate in this class.
