Give your child confidence with traditional one-on-one tutoring sessions tailored for excellence. Tutoring services at STRIVE constantly adapt to ensure each student is able to connect with the material. At STRIVE we do not believe in a "cookie cutter" system and strongly feel the individual attention each student receives will provide results that will stay with them a lifetime. We don't simply want your children to improve in their studies, we want them to be the best they can be...and believe it.

For the high school level student, tutoring not only assists with grades and prepares them for university but serves as a solid support system for students uncertain of their future. Educational counseling is a major component in ensuring a student is ready for post-secondary academics and unfortunately, sometimes this necessary individual attention is limited in our school systems. At STRIVE it is our goal to help all students find their way and feel they are on top of the world.

Tutoring services cover all grades from Kindergarten through College/University. We also work with students in French immersion programs, as well as those preparing for standardized tests, such as EQAO, SSAT, and SATs. For elementary students, we specialize in reading and math skills, as well as general understanding of all subjects in the curriculum. We ensure their skills are at the appropriate level, and introduce appropriate organizational skills and responsibility. For high school students, we can focus on subjects of difficulty, or specific projects, independent studies, essays, and exam preparation. In both cases, we readily discuss concerns, improvement, and goals with parents, students, and teachers. For university and college students, we offer tutoring, as well as essay writing/editing and career assistance. We are also very experienced with students using Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs), and our tutors are well-versed with a variety of techniques to improve their skills.

Your tutoring session is your personal time and catered to your academic needs. All sessions are one-on-one, focusing on the student's needs and adapting it to specific learning behaviours. Individual attention is the strongest and fastest way for a student to achieve optimal growth and development. We hope to change the lives of the students in our community one at a time. Tutoring sessions are one-hour length and unlike many other learning centres, here at STRIVE you may cover any subject area with your tutor at no additional cost. We are there for you!
